Thank you for visiting my website.

I was born in a traditional family with over 500 years of history in a countryside of Japan and raised surrounded by nature being watched over by spirits of the land and my ancestors. I was a child who loved animals and drawing, and was always sensing something floating and filling everywhere around me. It was very subtle, and difficult to put into words, but so real to me.

As I got older, I moved out of the land and was losing myself in reality. I studied in the university. I started to work. I moved and traveled a lot. I had many encounters with people and made a lot of new connections. My life was busy and exciting which was enough for me to forget about “something” subtle but important.

But it just vividly came back to me when I moved in New Mexico, the land keeping the natural state of the earth and spirits of Native American people. I started to get back my sense to connect to the land, sky, animals and plants, then realized again that there is something behind the layer of the reality. Something subtle. But something great. What a wonder. It’s like very fundamental force of this universe. It can be called by many names according to the each definition, and I would like to call it “Intelligence”.

The intelligence creates everything and fills all over the universe. It lets flowers bloom. It lets birds fly. It lets rain falls. It lets me paint. It is full of abundance and mysteries. I can’t resist the awe for it.

Now, I am based in Florida surrounded by nature like when I was a child, which gives me so much bliss and inspiration with the subtropic flora and fauna.

Making artworks is, for me, a form of admiration for the greatest intelligence.
